Reclaimed clay from the Rio Tinto mines
The site of the Rio Tinto mines is going to be home to Europe's largest ecological disaster, the toxic waste pouring out as a result of the mining is not being treated, but instead ignored. This ignorance and lack of accountability are releasing harmful, environment-destroying chemicals into the surrounding areas and eventually into the sea.
Nic aimed to bring attention to this bubbling disaster. I went to assist with the documentation, collection and processing of the material.
